Next to the composer there is a routing option with four choices. They change how many models Keplar consults, not which question gets answered.
The four settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Automatic | Keplar-One decides per question (the default) |
| Fastest | Fewer models and no judge. A moderate or complex question shrinks its panel by two, to at least two models. A simple question stays at one |
| Balanced | Standard panel sizes: one model for simple, three for moderate, five for complex |
| Most thorough | One more model than usual, and even simple questions get a panel of three |
Panels are capped at six models, and the Free plan caps them at three whatever you choose.
When to use each
- Fastest for brainstorming, drafts and low-stakes questions where speed matters more than a second opinion. It also uses fewer credits.
- Automatic or Balanced for everyday use. Keplar spends models where the question is hard.
- Most thorough when a wrong answer would cost you: a purchase, a contract clause you are unsure about, a plan you are about to commit to, or any question where you want to see how much the models differ.
What it does not do
- It does not choose specific models. You cannot pick models today.
- It does not turn on web access. Web lookups are not live.
- It does not make an answer verified. More models make a disagreement more likely to show, not an error less likely to exist.
Credits
A wider panel makes more calls and uses more credits. The Free plan has no credits to count but has a daily question limit and the three-model cap. Paid plans show a usage meter and reset dates in the app. See Credits explained.
Tip: compare settings on the same question
Ask a question on Fastest, then ask it again on Most thorough in the same chat. If the answers and the agreement differ, you have learned the question is sensitive to who you ask, and that is useful by itself.
