Follow-ups
Within a chat, the recent messages travel with your next question (older ones are shortened), so you can say "make it shorter" or "what about the second option?" and Keplar knows what you mean. This is the same whether you are signed in or not.
Each follow-up is routed like a new question. A follow-up like "thanks" is small talk and free; a follow-up that asks for a recommendation may bring in a full panel.
Good follow-ups
- "What assumption does that depend on most?"
- "Redo this assuming a $500 budget."
- "Which of those positions would you pick and why?"
- "Give the strongest argument against that."
- "Explain the disagreement as if I were new to this."
Saved chats
Signed in, chats are saved to your account. You can reopen, rename and delete them on any device. Images and video you attached are not saved with the chat. Deleting a chat deletes its content and any summary kept for memory.
Signed out, chats are kept only in your browser's local storage on that device. Clearing browser data removes them.
Threads and credits
Longer chats carry more context, which uses more credits on paid plans. If a chat has wandered, start a new one for a new topic. The answer quality does not depend on the chat being long.
Starting fresh
Use the new-chat control. Memory, if it is on, still carries short notes about you and summaries of recent chats into a new chat; see Memory to review or turn that off.
